An Analysis of Teaching Method used by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan in the Novel “Sang Pencerah” By Akmal Nasery Basral; M. Feri Firmansyah; NIM 09110029; Departement of  Islamic Education FAI UMM.

This Research aims to describe the teaching method which implement by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan in the Novel “Sang Pencerah. The statement of the problem in this research is how the implementation of teaching method used by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan in Novel “Sang Pencerah”.

This research used qualitative approach, whereas the method that used in this research is Library Research. The research subject is literature text found in novel “Sang Pencerah” include of teaching method values which implemented by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan. The data collection was done by identify literature text in novel “Sang Pencerah” that include of teaching method values. The data analysis was using content analysis.

The result of this study showed that K.H. Ahmad Dahlan in his teaching was using plenty of method, like; 1). Lecturing method, 2). Answer and Question, 3). Analogy, 4). Reward and Punishment, 5). Quantum learning, 6). Practice, 7). Problem Solving.
